Police seize marijuana in Shiawassee County Raid

Jeff Schrier | The Saginaw NewsPolice, led by the Saginaw County Sheriff’s Department, found marijuana growing in a house they raided Friday afternoon at 3551 Allan in Shiawassee County southeast of Chesaning. They seized marijuana, marijuana plants and plant growing materials that Saginaw Sheriff Charles Brown valued at $500,000. The person suspected of growing the pot was not present at the time of the raid and police are seeking his capture. There were marijuana plants of many sizes growing under lights in different areas of the house. Bags full of the drug were found in a freezer in a barn on the property.
